ZDF-"Fernsehgarten": With these mottos Andrea Kiewel starts the new season

ZDF has announced the mottos for the 2025 "Fernsehgarten" season. Fans can look forward to a special anniversary in June.

In summer, Sunday is firmly in the hands of pop music. This will remain the case in 2025, when Stefan Mross (49) will appear on Das Erste with "Immer wieder sonntags" and Andrea Kiewel (59) will present "Fernsehgarten" on ZDF . The broadcaster has now published its plans for the coming season and announced all the mottos.

It starts on May 4, 2025 with the traditional "kick-off" on the Lerchenberg in Mainz. In the following weeks, fans can look forward to the "Hit Marathon" on May 11 and the Swiss edition on May 18, which will be all about the ESC. This will be followed by "SchlagerDARTEN" on May 25, "Off to vacation" on June 1 and the "Vintage Flea Market" on June 8.

anniversary edition for Kiwi

A special highlight awaits viewers on June 15th: "Kiwi's 25th anniversary" - the presenter will then be celebrating a quarter of a century at the "Fernsehgarten". With a short break in 2008, Andrea Kiewel has been presenting the format since 2000.

Further summer themes will follow with "Endlich Sommer" on June 22nd, before fans will be treated to the popular "Discofox" edition twice: on June 29th and August 24th. The "Sommer Dance Party" (July 13th), "Ice Ice Baby" (July 20th) and "Mallorca" (July 27th) will also ensure a party atmosphere. There will also be a "journey through time" on August 31st and "Rock im Garten" on September 7th. The "Fernsehgarten" season traditionally ends on September 29th with the Oktoberfest.

As in the previous year, ZDF is planning two cancellations in the 2025 season: on August 3 and September 14. In 2024, the show also had to be canceled on two Sundays, at that time because of coverage of the Olympic Games.

For those who want to be there in Mainz, tickets will be available to buy from March 10. ZDF has not yet revealed anything about the guests of the individual shows. In 2024, the "Fernsehgarten" will feature numerous stars from the world of music and pop, including Andreas Gabalier, Marianne Rosenberg, Lou Bega and DJ Ötzi.
